+ Is the call Hosted on Zoom?
Yes! All of our virtual packages are hosted using Zoom. You will receive a Zoom link in your confirmation email.
+ How does it work?
Once you choose your date, time and character(s), we'll have you fill out a form to provide us some further details. You'll be taken to a page to pay the balance owing and confirm the booking. You'll instantly receive a confirmation email with the zoom link and some details about how to join the call. Approximately 10 minutes before it is time to start, we will send a text message to the number you provide to let you know when the call is open for you to join. The character(s) will be muted with their cameras off until it is time to start.
+ Does the character host and lead the entire 1-on-1 call?
Yes! Our character(s) will provide entertainment for the full duration of your booking. All you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the show!
+ What time zone are you in?
We are based out of Toronto, ON. We offer virtual parties, worldwide, for all time-zones. When you book online, you will be asked to fill in your time-zone, before you proceed.
+ Do the kids or grown-ups need to prepare anything?
All you need is a phone, tablet or laptop that can run the Zoom program. If you don't have a Zoom account, you can sign up for one at www.zoom.us.
+ Are there interactive activities?
All of the activities (storytelling, dancing, singing, magic etc) are interactive.
+ Do you record the calls?
For liability purposes and for the privacy of our young friends, we do not record any of our calls. You are welcome to take photos and video of your screens from another device and take screenshots. (We recommend that you do!)
+ What if the kids are shy?
There is no wrong way to react to a princess! Some kids are shy and quiet, some are super excited and can't stop talking. Our princess will adapt and make sure the Virtual Call is very special!
+ Do you accommodate special requests?
If you would like for the character to mention something specific, during the call, simply put it into the form you fill out when you book and we will do our best to accommodate. If you would like the princess to do a special activity with the kids, please reach out to us, prior to booking, and we will do our best to accommodate.
+ What is the cancellation policy?
If you provide at least 48 hours notice, we can reschedule your booking or provide you with a credit, equal to the full value of your booking, for future use. If you provide less than 48 hours notice, we can provide you with a credit, equal to 50% of the full value of your booking, for future use.
